In a time where most of the news articles you read or hear about Nigeria is on corruption, boko haram or a gloomy economic disposition ,and being here in the US I take so much time and passion to explain to anyone I meet about many great stuffs about Nigeria and how hard working ,industrious the Nigerian people are especially the young Nigerians. So it gladdens my heart to see how Mark Zuckerberg, the Founder of Facebook has recognized the ingenuity of young Nigerian developers.Yesterday in a Facebook post here is what Mark wrote and that has become a great inspiration to many young developers on Facebook who despite all the odds in the country are building their businesses.
Excerpts from Mark Zuckerberg’s post:
Today we’re partnering with Airtel Africa to launch Internet.org Free Basics in Nigeria.
There’s a lot of innovation across Africa right now, and Nigeria in particular is home to a lot of talented developers.
