A teenager has died after jumping into a canal located in Middleton, Manchester, England, with his friends, in a bid to overcome his fear of water. The 13 year-old victim, Flavio Rafael Pizarro, died in hospital nine days after he was pulled out of the canal.
He gave the gift of life to an
other in the hospital by
donating his organs, with the permission of his family and doctors prior
to his death.There are no warning signs in the area of the Rochdale Canal, Middleton, Manchester, where Rafael had
jumped into.
